More and more South Africans are suffering from being subjected to fraud by cyber criminals in recent times with most individuals not knowing how to deal with the consequences. This often results in a knock-on effect of others also then being compromised by fraud and it is important for victims to deal with the matter in a more sensible and effective manner to help prevent this.
In a recent article on what to do if you’re a victim of fraud or a scam in South Africa in the Business Insider Trading publication it was reported that South Africans lost more than R1.5 billion in banking and card fraud alone in 2020, according to the South African Banking Risk Information Centre (SABRIC).
