F-Secure’s business and home anti-malware products have won multiple and consecutive best protection awards from AV-Test, an independent IT-Security institute. As of February this year, F-Secure’s PSB Computer Protection and SAFE both scored perfect marks and hold the Top Product certification from AV-Test.
The AV tests are split into three categories; Protection, Performance and Usability. For the protection category, AV-test tested protection against 0-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats (real-world testing) and detection of widespread and prevalent malware discovered in the last 4 weeks (the AV-TEST reference set).
